Real Chocolat

Ya sabeis lo mucho que nos encanta el chocolate, y es que no resistimos a hablaros de dulces o postres siempre que tenemos la ocasión; pero es que esta vez, cuando decimos Real Chocolat, no sólo nos referimos a un chocolate auténtico y buenísimo, sino a una nueva tienda que hemos descubierto este fin de semana.

You know how much we love chocolate, therefore we can resist talking about sweets or desserts whenever we have the chance, but this time, when we say Real Chocolat, we mean not only a terrific authentic chocolate, but a new store that we discovered this weekend.

Visitando el sur de Francia, hemos hecho una parada en Carcassonne, una ciudad que cuenta con una ciudadela amurallada de la Edad Media donde hemos probado estos deliciosos dulces. Real Chocolat es el nombre de esta tiendecita francesa que ofrece bolas de chocolate en mil sabores al estilo Maltessers, cremas tipo Nutella con diferentes frutos secos y más de 60 variedades de tabletas de chocolate, entre negros, con leche y blancos. Con una disposición súper detallada de los productos, nos rodeamos no sólo de chocolate sino que también de nubes y frutas confitadas, para que nazcan nuevas ideas llenas de colores y sabores...
Visiting the South of France, we stopped in Carcassonne, a city with a walled citadel of the Middle Age where we tasted these delicious sweets. Real Chocolat is the French name of this little shop offering chocolate balls kind of Maltessers in a thousand flavors, Nutella cream types with different nuts and more than 60 varieties of chocolate bars, between black, milk chocolate and white. With a super detailed arrangement of products, we are surrounded not only by chocolate but also by marshmallows and candied fruits, so that new ideas are born full of colors and flavors ...

El bautizo de Claudia

Este sábado fue el bautizo de Claudia y, tal y como nos pidieron sus papás, nos encargamos de algunos detalles para darle un toque "infantil" a la sala del hotel familiar donde decidieron celebrar ese día. 

El reto era difícil: una sala de desayuno, donde predominaban el rojo y el blanco y diez cuadros de la ciudad condal llenaban las paredes. Aunque el ambiente no era el idóneo para un bautizo infantil, intentamos sacar el máximo partido de todo. Por eso, cogimos esos dos colores como base, y a partir de ahí pusimos pequeños detalles que le dieron ese toque que la sala necesitaba. 

This Saturday was Claudia's christening, and as his parents asked us, we took care of some details to give a "childish" look to the hotel room, property of the family, where they decided to celebrate that day. The challenge was difficult: a breakfast room, painted in red and white and where ten images from Barcelona hung on the walls. Although the atmosphere was not ideal for infant baptism, we tried to make the most of everything. So we took those two colors as a base, and from there we put little details that gave the room the needed touch.

Piruletas en forma de chupete, cupcakes red velvet o M&M's personalizados con el nombre de Claudia, fueron algunos de los dulces que acompañaron la mesa del pastel.

Para los invitados, unos potecitos de mermelada casera como recuerdo de ese día.

Lollipops shaped as dummies, Red velvet cupcakes, customised M & M's with the name of Claudia, were some of the candies that accompanied the cake table.

For the guests, some homemade jam jars as favors to remember that day.

¡Felicidades graduados!

El pasado viernes fue la graduación de la promoción 2012 de IQS y Home of Lovely Ideas fuimos las encargadas de la organización de la fiesta. Photocall, pase de fotografías, menús en forma de diplomas y birretes de chocolate fueron algunos de los detalles que amenizaron la velada.

Last friday night was the IQS graduation of the 2012 promotion and Home of Lovely ideas was in charge of the organization of the party. Photocall, a photographs slideshow, menus in the form of diplomas and chocolate caps were some of the details that enlivened the evening.

Shooters nos proporcionó la fotógrafa que captó cada momento y Cafe by Brown Tailor fue el encargado de producir el photocall donde los alumnos mostraron su faceta más divertida: con birretes y gafas de empollón se sintieron auténticos graduados. 

Shooters provided us with the photographer who captured every moment and Cafe by Brown Tailor was in charge of producing the photocall where the students showed their funniest side: with caps and geek goggles they felt like authentic grads.

Para el dulce, como siempre, acudimos a nuestra incondicional The Candy Company, quien nos sorprendió con unos deliciosos birretes decorados con los colores de la universidad. Gracias Anna ¡qué pasada!

Los alumnos se entretuvieron buscando sus nombres en los individuales y a la hora de escoger platos, desenrollaron sus menús en forma de diplomas. 

 Students were kept busy searching for their names on the place mats and when choosing their main courses, they rolled out their menus in the form of diplomas.

Objetos de deseo

No os ha pasado nunca estar paseando por vuestra ciudad y pensar "me encantaría ser turista y dejarme caer por aquí"? Hoy me ha pasado cuando he salido por la mañana y he visto que la calle Mayor de Sarriá se había convertido en un mercadillo callejero lleno de cosas monísimas. No he tardado ni medio segundo en sacar la cámara y fotografiar esos objetos estratégicamente colocados para que no puedas resistirte a comprarlos o al menos a admirarlos y pensar lo mucho que te gustaría tener una casa grande para tener una excusa para comprarlos todos!

Si no hubiera sido por esta iniciativa del barrio para fomentar el día del comercio, no hubiera descubierto la cantidad de tiendas tan monas que estoy convencida que vamos a frecuentar de ahora en adelante para decorar nuestros eventos.

Como ha coincidido con el fin de semana del día de la madre, os confieso que no me he resistido en comprarle varios regalos.

Has it ever ocurred to you to be walking around your city and think "I would like to be a tourist and discover this corner"? Today it happened to me when I saw how the Mayor de Sarriá street became a street market full of cute at items. I didn't hesitate for a second to get my camera and start taking pictures of those objects strategically placed so you can't resist buying them or at least admiring them and thinking how much you would like to have a big house to have an excuse to buy them all!

If it hadn't been for this neighborhood's iniciative to encourage the trade day, I wouldn't have discovered all those cute stores that I'm sure I will frequent from now on to decorate our events.

As it has coincided with Mother's day, I must confess that I couldn't help myself from buying several gifts for her.

Sueño de una noche de verano

Ibiza. 3 de Septiembre. Final del verano. Fiesta de blanco al atardecer. 

Tenemos un tema, Sueño de una Noche de Verano, y dos colores para acompañar al blanco: rosa y verde pastel.

We have a theme, A Midsummer Night's Dream, and two colors to go along with the white: light pink and green. 

Organizamos la fiesta que despide la temporada, diseñando una invitación a mano, con un dibujo que sugiere la magia que inundará el evento. A partir de la invitación, creamos etiquetas, pegatinas y tarjetas que decoran cada rincón de la casa donde se celebra la fiesta. 

We organize the farewell party season, designing a handmade invitation, with a drawing that suggests the magic that will fill the event. From the invitation, we create labels, stickers and cards to decorate every corner of the house where the party is. 

La fiesta incluye vistas al atardecer en primera linea de mar, mojitos, un catering fresco y delicioso, y un tentador Candy Bar. Con etiquetas que dicen "Mmmm" y "Eat Me" los invitados no tardan en probar estas dulces tentaciones. Como detalle, mini jarrones llenos de caramelos con la pegatina que incluye fecha y lugar para recordar eternamente. 

The party includes views at sunset on the sea front, mojitos, a fresh and delicious catering, and a tempting Candy Bar. With labels that say "Mmmm" and "Eat Me" guests are quick to try these sweet temptations. As favors, mini candy jars filled with candy with a label that includes date and place to remember forever.

¿Conocéis The Candy Company? a nosotras nos ha robado el corazón. Es una tienda de caramelos de Barcelona en la que, a parte de chucherías, podéis encontrar originales ideas para regalar, todo hecho a mano y con un gusto y elegancia exquisitos.
