Scrapbook... un regalo inolvidable.

Ya os habíamos comentado que nos encanta la técnica del Scrapbooking. Para l@s que no sepáis que es... "El scrapbook o scrapbooking consiste en multitud de procesos creativos como el recorte, pegado o collage para crear una composición de memorias y recuerdos mediante tus fotografías". Nosotras nos pasamos horas y horas seleccionando fotos y decorando nuestros propios álbumes.

We already told you how much we love Scrapbooking. If you don't know what it is "The scrapbooking consists in many creative processes as cutting, pasting, or collage so as to make a memory compositions with your photographies". We spend lots of hours selecting pictures and decorating our own albums.

Pues qué mayor sorpresa que tus amigas íntimas te regalen uno para tus 30 y te dejen con la boca abierta de lo bien que se les da!! Anna's y María... os habéis superado! Mil gracias por este recopilatorio de fotos de las cuatro tan chulo!

Los novios del pastel.

Después de varias semanas, ha llegado el día en el que os enseñemos los novios del pastel más originales que nos habéis enviado.

La verdad es que tenéis ideas buenísimas y nos ha encantado recibir vuestros e-mails. 

Los que más nos han gustado son los que nos mandaron Elvira, María y Vanessa! Muchísimas gracias!!!!

The figurines we want to highlight are the ones that Elvira, María and Vanessa sent us! Thank you very much!

1. Elvira y Pablo regalaron marionetas personalizadas . ¡Qué buena idea! Según lo que cuentan, lo mejor fue al entrar al banquete: Pablo llevaba la marioneta del chico y Elvira la de la chica: las parejas se quedaron sorprendidísimas al ver sus miniaturas de papel maché.  

Elvira and Pablo gave customed puppets. What a great idea! As far we know, the best moment was their entrance to the venue: Pablo hold the groom's puppet and Elvira the bride's one: the couples who received the figurines were surprised to see themselfs in miniature.

En la foto podemos ver que a la pareja de la derecha les gusta hacer snorkling y él es seguidor del Barça. En la pareja de la derecha, podemos ver que a ella le encantan las zebras y a él le gusta mucho leer.
We can see that the couple on the right side enjoys snorkling and that he is a really follower of Barça. On the left side couple, we see that she likes zebras and he likes reading.

 2. María y Manfre regalaron una furgoneta y una casita de madera con dos novios. Manfre es un "manitas" y lo hizo todo a mano. ¡Vaya curro!. Nos han parecido súper originales y muy monos. 

Maria and Manfre gave a minivan and a small wooden house with the new-weds. Everything was handmade by Manfre. ¡How much work!. We find them really originals and cute.

María nos ha explicado que la furgoneta es para dos amigos que todavía tardarán un poquito en casarse y a los que les encanta viajar en coche; y los de la casita porque pronto se van a vivir juntos.
María told us that the minivan is for a couple who isn't getting married yet and likes travelling by car; and the couple who received the small home were going to live together some weeks after the Maria & Manfre's wedding.

 3. Vanessa y Jaume regalaron un coche de playmobil con sus recién casados. ¡Nos ha encantado! ¿habéis visto las latas que cuelgan de la parte trasera del coche? 

Vanessa and Jaume gave a playmobil car with the figures of the new-weds. We loved it! Have you seen the cans hanging from the car?

4. Elvira nos ha mandado una idea que no queremos dejar de enseñaros, porque a veces nos puede sacar de un apuro. Se trata de unas pequeñas marionetas de "dedo" también personalizadas. Es la opción ideal para la hermana del novio o la novia, si no lleva demasiado tiempo con el novio y quieres tener el detalle con ella. 

Elvira also sent us an idea we want to share with you, cause sometimes it can get you out of a tight spot. It's about small finger puppets, customised too. It is a good solution to give to your sister if she and her boyfriend have been together for a short time, but you want have a gesture with her. 

Elvira y Pablo se los regalaron a los abuelos que hacían 50 años de casados el mismo año de su boda. Seguro que no se lo esperaban!Y les encantó.
Elvira and Pablo gave it to their grandparents who celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary the same year as their wedding. It is sure that they like it and they didn't expect it!

El chocolate suele ser imprescindible en la mayoría de eventos que organizamos: cenas, fiestas, bodas, etc. Negro, con leche, con frutos secos, blanco, con licor o con frutas, es un postre que les encanta a todos los invitados. Dylan's Candy Bar es una tienda mágica que nació de las manos de la hija de Ralph Lauren: Dylan. Abrir una tienda de dulces y chocolates había sido su sueño desde que de pequeña vio Charlie y la Fábrica de Chocolate. Chocolate is often essential in most events we organize: dinners, parties, weddings, etc.  Black, with milk, nuts, white, liqueur or fruity, is a dessert that all guests love. But to make it original and unique, we go to another of our "must see" in New York.

Objetos de deseo

No os ha pasado nunca estar paseando por vuestra ciudad y pensar "me encantaría ser turista y dejarme caer por aquí"? Hoy me ha pasado cuando he salido por la mañana y he visto que la calle Mayor de Sarriá se había convertido en un mercadillo callejero lleno de cosas monísimas. No he tardado ni medio segundo en sacar la cámara y fotografiar esos objetos estratégicamente colocados para que no puedas resistirte a comprarlos o al menos a admirarlos y pensar lo mucho que te gustaría tener una casa grande para tener una excusa para comprarlos todos!

Si no hubiera sido por esta iniciativa del barrio para fomentar el día del comercio, no hubiera descubierto la cantidad de tiendas tan monas que estoy convencida que vamos a frecuentar de ahora en adelante para decorar nuestros eventos.

Como ha coincidido con el fin de semana del día de la madre, os confieso que no me he resistido en comprarle varios regalos.

Has it ever ocurred to you to be walking around your city and think "I would like to be a tourist and discover this corner"? Today it happened to me when I saw how the Mayor de Sarriá street became a street market full of cute at items. I didn't hesitate for a second to get my camera and start taking pictures of those objects strategically placed so you can't resist buying them or at least admiring them and thinking how much you would like to have a big house to have an excuse to buy them all!

If it hadn't been for this neighborhood's iniciative to encourage the trade day, I wouldn't have discovered all those cute stores that I'm sure I will frequent from now on to decorate our events.

As it has coincided with Mother's day, I must confess that I couldn't help myself from buying several gifts for her.

Sueño de una noche de verano

Ibiza. 3 de Septiembre. Final del verano. Fiesta de blanco al atardecer. 

Tenemos un tema, Sueño de una Noche de Verano, y dos colores para acompañar al blanco: rosa y verde pastel.

We have a theme, A Midsummer Night's Dream, and two colors to go along with the white: light pink and green. 

Organizamos la fiesta que despide la temporada, diseñando una invitación a mano, con un dibujo que sugiere la magia que inundará el evento. A partir de la invitación, creamos etiquetas, pegatinas y tarjetas que decoran cada rincón de la casa donde se celebra la fiesta. 

We organize the farewell party season, designing a handmade invitation, with a drawing that suggests the magic that will fill the event. From the invitation, we create labels, stickers and cards to decorate every corner of the house where the party is. 

La fiesta incluye vistas al atardecer en primera linea de mar, mojitos, un catering fresco y delicioso, y un tentador Candy Bar. Con etiquetas que dicen "Mmmm" y "Eat Me" los invitados no tardan en probar estas dulces tentaciones. Como detalle, mini jarrones llenos de caramelos con la pegatina que incluye fecha y lugar para recordar eternamente. 

The party includes views at sunset on the sea front, mojitos, a fresh and delicious catering, and a tempting Candy Bar. With labels that say "Mmmm" and "Eat Me" guests are quick to try these sweet temptations. As favors, mini candy jars filled with candy with a label that includes date and place to remember forever.

Patitos de goma para bautizos.

¿Conocéis The Candy Company? a nosotras nos ha robado el corazón. Es una tienda de caramelos de Barcelona en la que, a parte de chucherías, podéis encontrar originales ideas para regalar, todo hecho a mano y con un gusto y elegancia exquisitos. Anna y Giorgina, sus propietarias, nos han mandado esta idea para el bautizo de vuestro hijo: los clásicos patitos de goma con un chupete de azúcar. ¡No hemos dudado ni un segundo en postearlo para vosotras!

¿Do you know The Candy Company? It has stolen our hearts. It's a candy store in Barcelona where, apart from delicious candies, you can find original ideas to give, everything handmade and with an exquisite and refined taste. At Carmen & Guillermo's wedding we put the pins into a glass jar next to loads of cards and envelops with same colours where the guests could write down their messages to the newlyweds (a colorful alternative to the classic Wedding Guest Book).  

Todos los invitados querrán tener la suya... Preferirán ponerse la del equipo del novio o de la novia? Quizás prefieren la de la fecha del gran día o la de las iniciales de los novios para recordar siempre esa boda...
